Bellicon Bungee Rebounder Review
Compare the 49 inch Bellicon, 44 inch Bellicon, 39 inch Bellicon.

Many people buy the wrong size for their weight and the wrong tensile strength. Buying the right bungee cord tensile strength and matched with the right size mat should give equal time on the mat and in the air so no time is wasted in the air.

Bellicon is the only company I've found that manufacturers their own bungee cord.I have taken apart the ribbons in their cords and they stretch and feel much different than the Khoantum that has a flat feel when the ribbons are fully stretched out. Bellicon has a proprietary process on their bungees that is kept secret by them.

The Bellicon cords don't last as long as just say the JumpSport cords as they create more friction. You can take a laser thermometer on where the cords rub the frame and the temperature is about 30% more. But, since the cords are not made of latex it doesn't affect it as much. I can't say that the cords that last the longest are best since some people won't want to sacrifice off-gassing for longer bungee cord life. I personally don't mind changing cords twice as often to avoid that petrochemical smell from the non latex rubber they are using.

The Bellicon has the most springiness of of all the cords. There is never a flat feel at the bottom of the bounce unless the cords are stetched out repeatedly beyond their maximum weight limit or recommended stretch point.

Bellicon ribbons are much thicker than most. The average bungee rebounder has about .09 inch ribbons. Large ribbon are any ribbons close to .13 inches.

The 49 inch Bellicon has many more bungee cords than the 39 inch models and the most of all bungee rebounders on the market I've tested. The 49 inch Bellicon rebounder has the deepest bounce. The 39 inch has less deceleration so it is harder to get equal deceleration and acceleration since it naturally cones in less. (note, with the 49 inch, if someone wants to jump high, I have tested the bounce with their strongest bands or doubling up with their less strong bands and having twice as many cords. If doubling up on cords, by jumping really high it puts half the stress on each cord so the cords don't lose their tensile strength and last exponentially longer than having the same tensile strength coming from just one set of cords. Even if jumping really high with 2 sets of cords, each cord doesn't have to stretch as hard to give the same acceleration of bounce.

For doing lymphatic Bouncing, the goal is to stay as close to the mat and be as little airborne as possible, I'm talking no more than a few inches above the mat, by getting the strongest tension for your weight and then doubling up the cords, this makes the mat firm enough to do lymphatic bouncing. The pop the bungee cord gives when really firm will be the most similar to that the spring gives. It will be probably too firm for high bouncing but for those seeking the Health Bounce, this is the way I do it.

If not going to be jumping high and only doing low bounces, the 39 inch model is the rebounder of choice. This naturally gives less air time and doubling up on cords gives even more bounces per minute. The goal of doing the Health bounce is repetition, not how much G force over the amount to open up the one way valves in the lymph vessels. Having too much air time feels really great when airborne but for doing lymphatic exercise it works against.

Note: many people can't handle so many lymph turns a minute as their liver can't process the waste as fast as it is being pumped. There are ways to slow the amount of flushing by either having more air time or less g force. Sometimes, having a session that takes an hour since there is less g force and more air time can be just right for someone who is dealing with a lymphatic concern.

When you get your bungee rebounder, I recommend counting how many bounces per minute. Most people that don't get expert advice end up buying the wrong tension strength for their weight. Before I recommend the cord strength, I always ask HOW LONG DO YOU WANT YOUR REBOUNDER SESSIONS TO BE. Many people are going to watch an hour tv show and want to get the same lymph turns over an hour. The opposite is when getting a spring rebounder and it takes 20 minutes to do the same thing a bungee does in an hour. But then again, moving that much lymph in 20 minutes can be a strain on the liver where all the lymph waste is being dumped. And even worse, if the gall bladder can't produce enough bile, the workout might be even working against you while someone thinks after their workout they did something good for their body. This is why I don't always recommend a spring rebounder for everyone. Bungees are good for those who may have a compromised body ecology who don't want to jump on a spring rebounder 2 minutes at a time five times a day to slow the drainage pace down.

Note: many people over do it and jump on rebounders for much longer. Once the gall bladder stops producing bile and needs to rest to make more, all the health bouncing will just be overkill. Please give your liver and gall bladder a rest. I really mean that.

The Bellicon rebounder comes in screw in legs and fold in legs. Depending if someone is going to be just jumping up and down or instead doing dynamic exercises on it, this will help me choose if screw in legs or fold in is better. There is NO wobble on the screw in legs. It has a more rigid feel. The wobble is a good thing for those who need that extra movement to move with the rebounder when doing dynamic exercise. If doing high jumping (or doing flips in the air) I strongly recommend getting the cover for the cords. If not the cover, then putting the bungee cords on where the clamp is face down and not on the top.

44 inch Bellicon Rebounder
This gives fewer bpm than the 39 inch but more than the 49 inch model. Contact me to see if this is the recommended size for you.
49 inch Bellicon Rebounder
This is a personal favorite. I hacked this size to get the most bounces per minute by dual cords on each attachment. The G force with low amplitude bounces is superb.
