Common Bungee Rebounder Complaints:

No Pads: Once someone falls through the cords and gets caught in the cords, most people will wish they had the outer pad to go over the bands. I strongly urge people to get the pad at the time of getting their bungee rebounder so that there is no extra shipping charge later.

Rails: If just starting out and going to be using the rebounder for dynamic exercise, I strongly recommend getting the bar or dual bars on some brands.

Tensile strength: Not having the right tensile strength usually means it will be too firm or too soft. If too soft the cords will wear out quickly and if too firm you won't get enough bounce unless really trying to jump high to get it.

Noise: Once the cords are dried up or the braiding wears off, they can get noisy. Non UV coated cords can get loud if left out in the sun. They get really dry like a dried out rubber band. Also if someone wants a quiet bungee rebounder, know if you want a low noise versus having synthetic cords vs latex cords. Many times people prefer a noisy rebounder over a smelly rubbery smelling rebounder.

Bounce getting mushy. Getting the right cords so you don't over stretch the cords. Using the wrong cords might not be a problem at first but once the cords keep over stretching this is when they get that mushy feeling at the bottom of the bounce.

Clamps: If you don't have a cover for your bungee cords, make sure if you are prone to falling in the cords you have hooks that aren't sharp.

Cheap mats: The really cheap bungee rebounders usually don't have Permatron mats which are the highest standard in mini trampolines and large trampolines. Even if someone puts Bellicon bungees on their cheap poly propylene material mat, it won't feel like a Bellicon.

Small jumping area. Many people want the 49 inch bungee but want a tighter lower inverting mat like the smaller bungee rebounders offer. Know what to expect from a larger or smaller mat based on your weight and jumping style so you don't buy the wrong one.

Bottom out. People might get the right tension for their weight but those that like to jump high will always bottom out the mat if jumping high enough. Having dual cords on each attachment can help prevent bottoming out.
